Travelling from Bulgaria to Romania by train
First, we reseach the timetable of the train that can go to the burcharest and found this website.
Schedule train station for go to the Bucharest
From the timetable, you will see that the arrival train station in Romania was Bucuresti Nord station and the big international train station in Bulgaria was Ruse station.We can use any train station go to Ruse for buy ticket to Romania but my trip choose the Garbrovo station which is small city and not have name in that timetable.
You can search and check departure time and transfer stations from this website.
We try search station from Garbrovo station to the Gorna Orjahovica station and the website shows first train will depart at 08.55 am.
Gabrovo station
We directly go to the ticket counter for buy ticket to the Gorna station.
The ticket cost 3. 95 lev per person.

ГАБРОВО = Gabrovo
ЦАРЕВА Ливада = Tsareva Livada
Г. Оряховица = G. Oryahovitsa
k = 2 (train class 2)
The train will depart from Gabrovo at 08.55 am. and change train station when arrive Tsareva Livada at 09.26 am. and depart from this station at 09.31 am. and arrive G. Oryahovitsa (Gorna station) at 10.35 am.
The seat inside train was 2x2 seats.
We got transfer train at Tsareva Livada station for go to Gorna.
The seat inside was 4x4 seats per one room.
Now we arrive Gorna Orjahovica.
We buy ticket to Ruse 8.95 lev

k = 1 (train class 1)
The train will depart from Gorna station at 11.30 am. and arrive Ruse at 13.22 pm.
We also can buy seat ticket 0.5 lev.So, total price is 9.45 lev
Actually it has machine for buy ticket by yourself but during that time I went there, it show only tutorial how to buy ticket on this machine but it still not ready to use.
After buy ticket successfully. You should check platform number for your train here. The screen shows my train will be in the platform 5.

Now we arrive Ruse station.
From the picture at ticket counter, we can see that this station can go to many country not just Bucharest in Romania.
The ticket from Ruse to Bucharest cost 31.29 lev per person.
The seat ticket cost 4.89 lev per person.

Before the passenger can enter inside train,there will have border police come to check your ID card and passport.If everything alrights, they will stamp Ruse symbol on your passport like this for show that you exit country by train.
We enter the train.The seat looks like bus station and aircon is hot.You might need a mini handy fan with you to save your life for long trip 😣
After train arrive the boarder of Romania, the train will stop for a while to let the boarder police from Romania checking your passport and if everything alrights, they will stamp sysmbol that showing you enter Romainia by train.
Now, we arrive the Buchrest train station.It is big station that have many restaturants and connect with the metro station.
We walk follow the M symbol to the metro station.

You can buy metro ticket from the counter “info casa”.
Or from the machine.
Ticket 2 trips cost 6 ron.
